Some thoughts over the table
March 11, 2011
We’re still in the first quarter of the year although it about to end yet it is still within first quarter and I can already say this year has started quite great. Well, actually it’s no biggie but for me it is. I’m starting to save money, nice isn’t it? Every payroll I get, I save almost 30% of it. My salary isn’t big so my savings isn’t as well. Talking about my salary, I usually have money during the 5th and the 20th day of the month. There is a 15 day interval. When I get my pay on the 5th, it can only last up to the 19th so by that time my resources are all exhausted. Let’s say my pay amounts to a value A, my expenditures are as follow:
- 28.57% = savings
- 14.29% = grocery
- 18.57% = house rent, electric and water bill
- 21.43% = money I sent to my brother (for my papa and some credit from my plane fare last Christmas hihih…)
- 17.14% = daily expense up to the 19th
I’m planning to increase my savings so I’ll get some percentage from my grocery and daily expense. My daily expense is constant, my lunch at the company canteen and the tricycle fare from the apartment to the shuttle point. Ill try to raise my savings up to 35.0% but not really sure if I can make it.
I have been thinking a lot, and 1 thought that struck me was that the only thing that can solve my problems is money. I bet everybody thinks it’s the one that can solve theirs as well. I don’t know what’s gotten into me but lately I’ve been thinking about money. I also have this thought of wanting to study in Harvard, yeah it’s a pipe dream but the heck, dream big as they say right? But I know it will be very difficult and near impossible to get into Harvard but hey, miracle happens everyday I might get the big miracle someday.
Well, just sharing my thought from out of the blue. You can share your thoughts here as well. It will be nice to have someone who thinks freely and carefree.
Hope to here from you!
